Dragon Slayer in Training

In this piece I wanted to show that girls don't have to always be the princess when playing pretend. This piece was done using ink, watercolor, and then photoshop.

Underpainting

Before importing my work into photoshop, I ink and watercolor the piece. I like the character that an ink quill pen adds to my work as well as the texture of the watercolor.

This is a look at my process from thumbnails, to grayscale comps, and then onto color comps.
